Reedsburg dam in Missaukee County set to undergo significant maintenance upgrades; preparation starts this summer

The Reedsburg dam is undergoing significant maintenance upgrades through summer 2019. The campground and boat launch remain open. Canoes and kayaks can easily get around, but the levels are too shallow for motor boats. The dam itself is still closed to public access due to current construction activities; however, anglers can continue to fish above and below the dam away from the closed work area. The DNR will begin to slowly raise the water level this fall to get the most wildlife habitat benefit possible from the drawdown. (updated 5/22/19)
